May's expertise lies in incentive plan design, executive compensation, business performance management, mergers and acquisitions integration, organization structure realignment, etc. She has extensive client networks in Asia which she advises Boards, Remuneration Committees, CEOs and Head of HR on strategic HR issues.

Prior to Pretium Partners, May held senior positions at Aon, Willis Towers Watson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, HSBC and Dow Chemical. She has over 25 years of consulting experience in which she directed thousands of projects from planning, design to implementation. 

May holds Master Degree in Training and HR Management from the Leicester University in the U.K. and Bachelor Degree in Social Science from the University of Hong Kong. She is the ongoing trainer for Certificate Program in Mergers & Acquisitions and International Reward Management for Institute of Human Resources Management. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

John has advised in the area of executive remuneration for over 30 years having qualified as a Solicitor, a New York Attorney and as a Chartered Tax Advisor.

John has previously been Managing Partner of New Bridge Street Consultants. was a founding member of the Remuneration Consultants Group and co-author of its Code of Conduct.

​His clients include Anglian Water (privately owned water utility), Carnival (FTSE250 cruise line operator), Compare The Market (privately owned fintech), GPE (FTSE250 real estate), Hammerson (FTSE250 real estate), Just Group (FTSE250 life insurance), Next (FTSE100 fashion retailer), Olam Food Ingredients (Singapore based ingredients company), Rentokil Initial (FTSE100 pest control), Rothesay Life (privately owned life insurer) and WH Smith (FTSE250 travel retailer).
Linda Lu

With over 18 years of successful executive search and human resources experience in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Linda founded First Calibre in 2013. 

Her focus is predominantly IBD (Corporate Finance, M&A), Capital Markets (DCM, ECM), Structured Finance, Global Markets (FICC, Cash Equity, Equity Derivatives), Equity Research, Quant, Brokerages, Asset Management, Investment, Fund Raising and, etc. 

Previously she worked at many top global executive search firms, such as Whitney Correlate, Omerta Group and Capital Access. Linda started her career with HSBC where she was a HR Business Partner, dedicated in hiring and talent management. 

​Linda holds a BA in Marketing from the Dong Hua University, Shanghai, China. She speaks native Mandarin, fluent in English and Cantonese.
