Our Expertise

May Poon

May is the Founder and Managing Partner at Pretium Partners. Her expertise lies in incentive plan design, executive compensation, business performance management, mergers and acquisitions integration, organization structure realignment, etc. She has extensive client networks in Asia which she advises Boards, Remuneration Committees, CEOs and Head of HR on strategic HR issues.

Prior to Pretium Partners, May held senior positions at  Aon, Willis Towers Watson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, HSBC and Dow Chemical. She has 25 years of consulting experience in which she directed thousands of projects from planning, design to implementation. 

May holds Master Degree in Training and HR Management from the Leicester University in the U.K. and Bachelor Degree in Social Science from the University of Hong Kong. She is the ongoing trainer for Certificate Program in Mergers & Acquisitions and International Reward Management for Institute of Human Resources Management. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Elaine Wong

Elaine is a Managing Consultant at Pretium and her professional experience covers full spectrum of Human Resources functions including talent acquisition and development, reward management, performance management, employee engagement, executive coaching, organization development, change management, process re-engineering and merging & acquisitions. She has over 25 years of experience gained from Financial Services, High Technologh and Airlines sectors.

Prior to Pretium, Elaine was Managing Director, Head of Human Resources in CITIC Securities International and held senior positions at CITIC Capital, China CITIC Bank International, JP Morgan Chase, Standard Chartered, Delta Airlines, Ecospace, Hewlett Packet and Unisys. She is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management and is one of the founder and secretary of the HK Credible Care Volunteer Association. Elaine is a Staff Panel member of the Hong Kong Scout Association and Executive Vice President of the Asia Pacific Professional Manager Association.

Elaine holds Master of Business Administration Degree from American States University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Susan Chan

​​Susan is a Managing Consultant at Pretium and her professional experience covers all aspects of Human Resources Management including talent acquisition and development, executive coaching, succession planning, performance management, diversity management, organization design and restructuring as well as project and change management. She has over 30 years of experience in the Financial and Real Estate industries.
 
Prior to Pretium, Susan served as the Regional Head of HR of Grosvenor Asia Limited and held senior management positions at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Manulife Financial, Barclays Bank and Wheelock Property in Hong Kong.
 
Susan holds a Master degree in Finance from Baruch College of the City University of New York and a Post-graduate Diploma in Organizational Development from Leicester University, UK. She is also a certified trainer in various Personality Profiles and Leadership Development Program. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
